C#.NET Programmer/Analyst

Job Summary: Looking for C#.NET developers to work on projects for both support and enhancement development. The individuals selected will have worked on large development teams in a multiple server, multi tier environment. Strong skills required with ASP.NET, ADO.NET and C#.NET. Must understand code in both .NET 1.1 and 2.0 environments and be able to update and/or rewrite code as needed. Must have practical experience with .NET 2.0 and the new features available. Backend systems are running on Oracle Databases so familiarity with PL/SQL is required. (SQL server with stored procedures will be considered.)

Individuals selected will be able to take high level design and assist with detailed design documents as needed. Must be able to get up to speed quickly on previously developed code for both enhancements and defect repairs. Individuals are required to unit test and integration test code. Must understand Web Services and integration with Middleware layer using WSDL and SOAP. Individuals will participate in the build and migration process as needed. Must be willing to support system integration testing, system regression testing efforts (from a development perspective). UAT, and ultimately production.

Responsibilities & Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience. Six plus years prior software development experience including three in a C#, ASP.NET, Sharepoint environment. Must understand, articulate and apply contemporary software engineering techniques and be able to train other personnel in the techniques. Experience should include multiple tools for software development including, but not limited to, C#.NET, VB.NET, .NET 1.1, .NET 2.0, ASP.NET and IIS. Healthcare experience a plus. Excellent facilitation skills for design sessions and code walkthroughs. Broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of Development Center objectives and principles and achieve these goals in creative and effective ways. Excellent understanding of contemporary software development techniques and the ability to apply them in the context of various software development life cycles. As an expert, uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters. Work on complex issues where analysis of situations require in-depth evaluation of variable factors. General understanding of business issues across several functional areas. Ability to set goals and work with no direction. Superior verbal and written communications skills.
