PROGRAMMER Position Summary: Programmer. Codes, tests, and debugs programs of moderate complexity. Works independently on moderately complex subroutines; under direction of more senior programmers, assists in the development of major systems modules and programs. Fully qualified to perform most programming assignments without close supervision; fully knowledgeable of two programming languages, program design, and specification development, program logic, and flow-charting, testing debugging, and documentation. Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis. Requirements Entry to intermediate level staff that has sufficient educational background and/or experience to qualify them to start in application systems analysis and programming in the specific technical field. Exact field of expertise will dictate specific skill set, years of education, and/or relevant work experience. Relevent degree and 1-3 years experience are common. College degree in computer science, mathematics, or information systems and/or equivalent work experience. Familiar with all functional aspects of systems development and support. Demonstrated aptitude for analysis of systems or business solutions. Knowledge of insurance helpful. Must be eligible to work in the United States for purposes other than practical training, and if hired supply the proper documentation according to federal law. We do not sponsor any full-time, part-time, or temporary Visas. Other Skills Familiar with object oriented methodology, .Net and similar Microsoft technologies.
