Senior Java Programme
Position Description
This position is accountable for development and support of Java-based applications including the following responsibilities:
- Write quality source code, both new features and enhancements/fixes to existing functionality
- Write and execute test plans
- Translate business requirements into technical design
- Problem analysis and root cause resolution
Position Requirements
Position Requirements
In-depth knowledge of Java and web based technologies is required, with 6-10 years experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience with the following technologies and concepts is required:
- Java / J2EE
- JSP/JavaScript/HTML/CSS
- SQL / JBDC
- Web Architecture
- Object Oriented design
Candidates must also demonstrate:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to quality
- Work well with a team and individually
- Initiative and innovative thinking
- Ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously
