Senior HW/SW Application Engineer
Responsibilities:
* Verification and integration of hardware designs for image processing, targeted on FPGA or ASIC devices.
* Travel to far East is required.
Qualifications:
* Deep understanding of FPGA and ASIC technologies, design flows, and design tools;
* Digital IC design experience: Verilog HDL/VHDL, Simulation, Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis;
* Experience in using verification methodologies;
* Experience in using IC design tools, FPGA or ASIC grade;
* Experience in Version control tools and methodologies;
* Embedded systems programming experience in ASM, C/C++ language;
* Strong understanding of Real time operating systems and device driver architectures;
* Image processing experience (understanding image representation and formats, experience working and implementing various algorithms);
* Video/Still acquisition architectures and techniques
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Qualifications:
* Good knowledge and understanding of modern microprocessors, system buses, I/O (interrupt and DMA driven) and memory subsystems
* verification languages: SimPlus, Specman, Vera, System Verilog, or System C
* Using scripting languages as PERL, Tcl, Makefile.
* Good knowledge and understanding of networks and communications
