Sr. Software Systems Engineer/Analyst

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Lead translation of marketing requirements and use cases into appropriate requirements. Analyze and design requirements mapping to system components. 2. Lead the analysis of software system hazards, the identification of hazard mitigation strategies and translate into appropriate requirements. 3. Lead technical project reviews, design reviews, and application code reviews with a focus on helping to ensure that developers use good design practices, good coding practices, and adhere to architectural and coding standards. 4. Participate in the design, development, test, and documentation of assigned software system components for a real-time, multi-threaded, multi-process, distributed software application. 5. Effectively interact with multidisciplinary team members including marketing, hardware, software, and algorithm engineers. 6. Develop appropriate documentation for work products in support of our FDA-compliant development process.

Qualifications:

PREFERENCES

1. Small company / start-up experience. 2. Experience developing for medical devices or device instrumentation highly preferred. Experience in medical informatics systems and services. 3. Experience analyzing hazards and designing mitigations. 4. Experience in scientific programming. 5. MS (CS or EE).
