Sr. Software Engineer- Automation

External Job Posting: Design, develop and maintain software used to control laboratory automation processes for internal manufacturing and outside customers.

Evaluate automation solutions as needed.

Job duties include but are not limited to: • Design, develop and maintain software to interface with and control laboratory robotics equipment (including complex off-the-shelf systems and custom designed systems) and to access information from a database to aid in their control. • Evaluate off the shelf automation solutions to complex lab processes. • The candidate must posses excellent troubleshooting and design skills. • Ability to work well in a team environment Qualifications: • B.S. Computer Science or significant software development experience. • 2+ years experience in software development using OOP language (C# .net preferred) in an integrated development environment . • Experience with LIMS workflow a plus. • Experience with laboratory robotics a plus• Customer focused, team oriented, self motivated, and enjoys working in a fast paced (RAD) environment. • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
