Software Engineer C/C++/Linux

Looking for SOFTWARE Engineer with C/C++ and Linux based application SOFTWARE development experience. This employee will closely work with Team Members to implement next generation distributed control plane architecture for storage products. The ideal candidate should have solid educational background and experience writing socket based user space applications for a distributed system. Experience writing multithreaded and multiprocess applications is required. Position requires ability to work closely with peers in a fast paced dynamic environment.

% of Time Essential/Primary duties and responsibilities 80 Design, Implementation and Enhancements for current and future products. 20 Sustaining work

Requirements: Minimum Education Requirements BSCS, BSEE or equivalent experience. MS-EE/CS desirable.

Prior Work Experience A minimum of 3 years of SOFTWARE engineering experience required.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge

Must have Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills Excellent design and specification skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with networking and distributed systems Understanding and experience designing and implementing socket, multithreaded and multi-process application Linux and Embedded system experience.
