Software Engineer

• Develops detailed designs with Software Architect, Business Analyst and User Experience Designer

• Develops software components

• Develops and executes Unit Tests

• Pinpoints and resolve software bugs

• Assists with technical design

• Participates in agile team by using agile practices: identify complexity and apply refactoring

• Performs code reviews: verify extensibility and assure complexity has been minimized

• Tests and integrates with other development tasks

• Identifies agile development processes which lend themselves to driving down defects

• Demonstrates problem solving and innovation

• Analyzes requirements and design for accuracy and completeness

Required Skills

• Expertise on MF-COBOL, UNIX, Shell scripting, Oracle SQL

• Excellent problem solving, logical Skills & Analytical Skills

• Excellent Troubleshooting & debugging skills

• Should have handled tasks/Modules independently.

• Good understanding of Installation, Deployment of applications on Unix platform

• Clear understanding of Design patterns

• Exposure to working on Debugging tools
