Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

* Participate in the requirements analysis and detail design of object oriented software applications * Analyze business systems requirements and design technical solutions based on those requirements * Develop and support new software applications * Design, document, test, and implement application features and enhancements * Contribute to software development process standards * Develop Oracle PL/SQL procedures and packages * Develop technical specification documents * Support existing programs and modules * Participate in code reviews * Assisting Product Support with production issues

Required Skills

* Four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience * Minimum eight years of experience in systems analysis and programming, addressing unique issues of architecture and data management * Minimum five years Oracle development experience required * Familiar with general software development processes * Strong Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL skills * Previous SQL tuning experience required, database tuning a plus * Ability to work independently and/or with a team on multiple tasks * Strong communication skills * Experience with coordinating small projects a plus
