Software Engineer

Currently recruiting for a Software Engineer to join our Development team. Responsibilities include: • Perform product design, systems analysis and programming activities on application software which may require some research • Perform design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems • Participate in product design meetings • Prepare technical documentation of product sub-systems • Perform bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products • Perform coding, unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits with high quality deliverables • Research complex problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems • May assist in performing on-site client work on moderately complex applications • Participate actively in and may lead code reviews • Implement critical software or system changes • Research new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements: Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science or other relevant combination of training and education • 6+ years of technical experience in software development • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Development tools (.Net 2.0+, C#, SQL Server 2005+, IIS 6+) • Experience with SOAP, XML, XSL, XSLT • Expert in Object Oriented Design • Knowledge of multiple database platforms • Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation • Experience in design and development of Interfaces and/or interoperability solutions for Healthcare products • Experience with Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
