Software Engineer

The applicant must have the following qualifications:

• Expert at building web application using ajax and other

technologies, UI design.

• Hands on experience with Swing, JFace, or SWT (UI-specific), GWT,

Rails, JBoss, JDO, Eclipse, MYSQL, JDBC.

• solid experience with HTML/CSS and styling GWT applications.

• Excellent understanding and use of SOAP/RESTful webservices.

• Hands-on programming experience on a Linux/Unix-type OS.

• Good understanding of Unix command line operations.

• Excellent understanding of at least one compiled-code language from

(Java, C++).

• Fair-to-good understanding of at least one additional language from

(Java, C/ObjC/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python, SQL, JavaScript).

• Excellent understanding of OO concepts.

• Good understanding of revision control basics.

• Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills.

The following skills are highly desired:

• Hands-on network administration/engineering.

• Database administration/replication.

• SQL stored procedures/functions.

• PostgreSQL.

• Open source project development
