DSP Audio SW Engineer Job Functions

•Creates original real-time, embedded system software for inclusion in development kits. •Collaborates with technical writers to produce technically accurate manuals and user guides. •Reviews and understands customer and Marketing needs. Collaborates with marketing to produce product requirements. •Responsible for project planning and scheduling of smaller projects. •Provides second line support to customer support organization and direct support to customers when necessary.

Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required

•MS degree with three or more years of professional experience or :- BS degree with five or more years of professional experience. (MS or BS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science) •One to three years professional experience or significant college work in embedded system software development. •Experience porting algorithms from research and performing optimization. •Demonstrated proficiency in C with experience in C++ and object oriented programming a plus. •Background in DSP, including Fourier analysis, discrete-time signal processing, sampling theory, and digital filter design. •Familiarity with integrated development environments, software source control, and general software practices. •High standard of written and oral communication. •Highly motivated and energetic with Passion for audio and signal processing.
