Senior Software Engineer
* A minimum of 10 years experience as a software engineer
* A minimum of 5 years experience as a senior software engineer, including a demonstrable track record of delivering engineering products to customers utilizing Java, JEE and JPA within a distributed application environment
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field, or the equivalent demonstrated experience working with both engineers and product managers
* Hands on experience with SOA concept and implementation
* Hands on experience with J2EE architecture framework design and development with EJB development experience with:
* Mbean core technology
* JTA transaction creation, start, pause, commit, and roll-back
* Hibernate and JPA association and utilization of the JPA entity manager
* Web Services communication with the business logic via JNDI
* Web services development and experience with related technologies like XSD/WSDL/JWS/AXIS
* Object-oriented design and development skills, including design patterns and UML modeling
* Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated track record of providing technical direction for significant commercial product
* Strong Agile experience
* Java web application frameworks like JSF, Struts or Spring MVC
* Database development ( MySQL, SQL, JDBC)
* Independent thinking and a demonstrated capability to make convincing, information-based arguments
* Excellent judgment, eye for detail, relentlessly high standards and strong strategic thinking -- but not at the expense of execution
* Is results oriented
* Adapts quickly to new product and process
* Web UI development (DHTML/CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Flash)
* Strong written and verbal communication in English required
