Senior Software Engineer
Required Skill-set:
* Proficient developing in C - Experience developing in Unix or Linux
* Proven history of building high performance systems
* Ability to develop solutions when the problem is not well defined
* A driving sense of craftsmanship, quality and ownership
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and to take on additional tasks as assigned
* Ability to work in small teams to solve complex problems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skill-set:
* Experience developing in a large source code base
* Experience with network programming on Linux / Unix
* Experience building high-speed networking devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, or deep packet inspection (DPI) systems
* Experience developing parallel/multi-threaded applications
* Understanding of application layer network protocols
Education:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent work experience)
