Senior Web-API Developer
Requirements:
* Track record of delivering mission critical, enterprise web applications (experience developing Saas applications a plus)
* Experience developing an enterprise class REST based Web Services interface
* Expert knowledge developing and debugging Java applications leveraging industry standard development tools
* Strong understanding of object oriented design principles, and multithreaded and database programming in a Java environment
* Deep knowledge of the Servlet API and HTTP protocol required
* Experience developing using Agile software development methodologies
* Expertise developing products using JSON, XML, XPath, and XSD Schemas
* Experience developing automated unit tests, Test Driven Development experience a plus
* Working knowledge of the Google App Engine
* Experience developing Android or iPhone applications a plus
* Strong German and English verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site development team
* Desire to work in a fast paced, growing, deadline driven, startup environment
* Complete understanding of the full product development lifecycle (design, development and testing)
* Development experience with an eCommerce solution or product a plus
* Subversion and Maven knowledge a plus
* Self-motivated
* Strong collaboration skills
Education and Experience:
* BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent
* 7+ years profession software development experience
* 5+ years professional Java development experience
