Mobile Software Engineer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the design and development of new systems to be incorporated into the existing collection and processing environment. Develop components that will run on thousands of mobile phones.
Guide group strategy and create action plans and goals.
Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new related technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 5+ years of Software Engineering or Development experience
Must have 1 to 3 years of specific development and support of mobile applications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
Knowledge of J2ME in an Android or Blackberry environment is a must.
Experience as a team lead or in a role where you held team lead responsibilities is ideal, but not a must.
Experience with the development of applications that utilize the HTTP protocol is a plus.
Experience with the development of Linux applications is a plus.
Knowledge of reverse engineering software is extremely helpful
Knowledge of TCP/IP is a plus
Excellent oral, written and computer communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
The nature of the teams dynamics will require an individual that is able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team members.
