Electrical Software Engineer
Job Description:
Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering.
May be responsible for technical, cost, and schedule requirements of projects, design, development, internal / external customer design reviews, and technical documentation. Responsible for management of assigned electrical engineering assignments.
Participate in technical design/modification negotiations with customers and experimenters.
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze new and advance projects; Participate in reviews: Requirement, Design Reviews, and Mission Readiness. Programming and computer application skills such as LabVIEW/Windows, C, C++, C#, OrCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, and MATLAB are required. Develop Applications for configuring ground station equipment such as bit synchronizers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related science. Four years of related experience is required.
Programming and computer application skills such as LabVIEW/Windows, C, C++, C#, OrCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, and MATLAB are required. Experience and operational proficiency using Microsoft Visual Studio to implement Plugin architechures in C#
