Senior Solutions Engineer
* Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client’s technical architecture/environment and develop strategies, architectures, and proposals
* Strong analytical skills, including the ability to capture and understand business processes, business problems/challenges, and technical requirements.
* Define and provide technical solutions and content for proposal and pre-sales in large procurements, RFP and RFI’s.
* Experience in engineering/integrating various midrange hardware, i.e. SAN, PC at component levels, Unix, Linux, Virtualization technologies, High Availability/Disaster recovery concepts and Network concepts
* Experience with incorporating various relational databases technologies into design solutions. Experience with Oracle a plus.
* Experience writing technical responses to RFP’s & RFI’s and cost modeling
* Excellent Organizational, time management, communication skills with keen eye for details
* Ability to multi-task and be able to represent multiple subjects and products
* Willingness to travel as necessary to support customers at executive level
* Professional presentations skills, both in person and via teleconference
MINIMUM SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5+ years previous experience in systems engineering and/or pre-sales consultancy in a software environment
* BA or BS degree or equivalent experience in computer science
