Front End Developer
Responsibilities
*
Develop clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
*
Translate Photoshop designs into FrontEnd interfaces
*
Organize CSS and image libraries
*
Implement FrontEnd code into MVC structure
*
Work directly with PHP Developers and Web Designer to ensure FrontEnd interface works and looks as designed and specified
*
Work on several different projects at the same time
Qualifications
*
3+ years professional experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development
*
At least a BS in computer science or related discipline
*
Expertise creating clean HTML and CSS code from Photoshop designs
*
Advanced JavaScript development
*
Experience using jQuery and Prototype frameworks
*
Understanding of MVC architecture
*
Basic understanding of PHP Development to implement FrontEnd interface into PHP applications
*
Knowledge of software engineering processes
*
Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks, process, and products
*
Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, troubleshooting, analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills
*
Positive, enthusiastic, energetic, detail oriented, and self-motivated
*
Ability to work independently and as a team member in a dynamic work environment
*
Team player who thrives in a start-up environment is a MUST
*
