Senior Programmer
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting business web sites. This involves maintenance of current production systems, enhancements and new development. The role encompasses “hands-on” development as well as ability to help manage the progress of the web development team efforts.
Candidates should have the ability to manage and mentor development staff to help ensure that multiple projects remain on schedule and within budget. Strong technical knowledge of web development process and ability to recommend and implement new “cutting-edge” solutions that drive new site traffic and/or new revenue sources for the brands is essential.
Qualifications:
- Excellent understanding of Web infrastructure and development principles
- Extensive knowledge of linux & python/django/postgres
- Creative and innovative thinker
- Agile experience a plus
