Java UI Engineer
Required Skills:
* Strong Core JAVA & J2EE skills
* Experience with Linux as a development platform, Unix shell scripting
* Knowledge of and experience with VMware, VMware API's
* Hands on design & development of event-driven UI using one of Vaadin, GWT, Swing or SWT
* Experience with GWT based UI frameworks is preferred
* Knowledge of Javascript and CSS
* Experience with JBPM is plus
* Hands on JPA, Hibernate/Eclipse link
* Hands on experience with JSP, Servlet
* Experience working with industry leading application servers JBoss preferred (Weblogic / Tomcat/jetty)
* Proficient with Ant and Maven, and source code control systems
* Strong analysis & design skills.
* Working knowledge of industry standard design patterns
* Candidate should have experience evaluating technologies
* Exposure to Design and implementation framework
* End-to-end product design required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication is essential.
* Working in Agile environment is a plus
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the design and implementation of the core product
* Hands on coding position
* Support software deployment in a production environment
* Work with Architect and team to deliver high-level and detailed design
* Perform functional code reviews & integration tests
* Work with QA Lead to ensure high quality
* Collaborate with team members in an agile environment
Education:
• BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
• MS in Computer Science a plus
