Sr. Application Developer/Engineer
The Sr. Application Developer/Engineer will be primarily responsible for Code, configure and integrate web-based global marketing dashboard applications.
Responsibilities: Code, configure and integrate web-based global marketing dashboard applications developed using Adobe Flex with Microsoft .NET Web Services, ASP.NET and SQL Server databases. Responsible for Design, Analysis and Requirements for providing enchancements and new functionality for existing applications. Must have analytics skills and graps of complex algorytims and data modeling concepts. Use Visual Source safe for version and source control of application source code. Upgrade technology from ASP.NET 2.0 to 3.5. Responsible for official builds for deployment to QA/Staging/Production environment. Troubleshoot bugs and do Unit, Integration and Regression testing of application. Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, SQL Server 2008, Adobe Flex Builder 3.5, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, Fogbugz (bug tracking). Design and develop database, write stored procedures, functions and views using SQL Server 2008.
Minimum Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Information or related field of study. 5 years experience
Required Skills/Must Haves:
Experience using ASP.NET 3.5/4.0, XML, Web-Services, FluorineRemoting, Visual Studio 2010, Adobe Flex 3.5, Object-Oriented Programming, and Microsoft Design patterns and best practices. Thorough knowledge of database design, SQL Server 2005/2008, and SDLC methodologies including RAD and follow AGILE software development required.
2 years of experience in developing optimization engines, implementing complex analytical algorithms and must have thorough knowledge of optimization of what-if scenarios and constraints driven scenarios to maximize ROI of future marketing campaigns. The applicant must also have a good knowledge of data modelling concepts used to develop optimization engines including different types of response curves like linear, power, s-shaped curves.
