Sr. Software Applications Development Engineer
- Design, development, documenting and maintaining customizations for a global web site
- Supporting projects and being a 2nd level escalation for production issues
- Optimize the web site for performance on Linux operating systems
- Debug all application issues and drive to conclusion by suggesting/implementing solutions. Should be able to work independently on production issues and also with vendor support
- Familiar with debugging and profiling tools to debug complex issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Must have 7+ years experience in development and designing of knowledge/content management solutions in Linux platform
- Fluent in Java/J2EE/JSP and web development
- Knowledge with JQuery, YUI, C/C++
- Proficient with using JSP Tag Libraries
- Strong in object-oriented design and development
- Fluent in SQL with Oracle/mySQL.
- In-depth understanding of web technology stack including AJAX, WebServices, XML, Tomcat/Apache, CSS/Javascript.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Inquira development certification is a plus
- Oracle RDBMS 10.x/11.x and MySQL knowledge is a plus
- Supported a global implementation of Inquira or any other knowledge management solution
