- Work closely with internal customers to gather requirements and prepare business and technical specifications
- Assess infrastructure needs with Business process contingency plan.
-Design, develop, test, QA and deploy web applications using LAMP, Object Oriented programming concepts, and Web 2.0 technologies
- Mentor Jr. Developers
Education:
BS/MS degree with focus on Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent.
* 6+ years experience designing and coding web-based applications
* 6+ working experience with PHP, MySQL, and Oracle DB
* 6+ working experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
* 3+ working experience with AJAX and/or YUI
* 5+ years experience in a Unix based development environment (FreeBSD and Linux)
* Strong troubleshoot skill and the ability to work independently
* Strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
* Willing to learn new web/app technologies
* Good communication skills
* Desire to work closely within a team environment
