Electrical Software Engineer
Responsible for management of assigned electrical engineering assignments. May serve as lead electrical engineer for SR missions. Design electronic and electrical systems; assist in developing component and TM system standards and testing /qualification techniques. Analyze, design, and develop solutions to sounding rocket telemetry and power control systems. Participate in technical design/modification negotiations with customers and experimenters. Design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze new and advance projects; Participate in reviews: Requirement, Design Reviews, and Mission Readiness. Programming and computer application skills such as LabVIEW/Windows, C, C++, C#, OrCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, and MATLAB are required. Develop Applications for configuring ground station equipment such as bit synchronizers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related science. Four years of related experience is required.
Programming and computer application skills such as LabVIEW/Windows, C, C++, C#, OrCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, and MATLAB are required. Experience and operational proficiency using Microsoft Visual Studio to implement Plugin architechures in C#. Experience in developing applications that interface to electronic equipment using the following standards: IEEE-488(GPIB),Serial, and USB.
