Software Engineer - Finance - Trading
Responsibilities:
· Design, code, and debug complex applications using multiple languages such as .NET
· Responsible for confirming requirements, developing and testing code, and managing product deliverables to targeted release dates
· Adherence to company’s software development methods (based on Agile)
· Coordinate with Quality Assurance team to effectively test software releases
· Provide support to traders in testing new releases and products
· Continually expand one’s knowledge base with regards to programming languages, technologies, and general aspects of the company
Requirements:
· Undergraduate Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics degree
· Self-starter who is able to get things done with minimal direction
· Strong experience with an object oriented language such as C#
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle
· Demonstrated ability to learn and use new technologies
· Familiarity with SharePoint a plus
· Experience working in the financial industry a plus
