Senior Multimedia Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Bring-up, debug, and optimize drivers and vendor multimedia stacks
- Develop higher level pipeline interfaces and APIs
- Design and implement next generation media features
Minimum requirements:
- Exceptional programming skills
- Superior communication/leadership skills (ability to collaborate smoothly with peers, partners, third-party contractors)
- Experience with Mobile/Embedded development/debug
- Tenacious debugging skills
- Fluent in C/C++ programming
Desired:
- Experience in content streaming, video sharing, P2P or content protection (DRM schemes, encryption, etc)
- Experience in mobile/embedded power/performance optimization
- Experience working with or technical lead in a small engineering team
- Experience with developing multimedia software and/or working with multimedia frameworks (e.g. OpenMAX IL, StageFright, GStreamer, DirectShow)
- Linux Kernel and/or WebOS development experience a plus
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
7-10 years relevant industry experience.
