The Contractor will design, develop, and maintain health care IT products within our line of SaaS solutions. Working in small project teams that may include a UX designer/developer, DBA, and QA engineer, the Contractor will design, code, test, and debug server-side controllers, database queries and Web Service interfaces.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent major, or commensurate experience in software development
* One year experience using Python, Perl, Ruby, or similar server-side scripting language
* One year experience developing database-intensive Web applications
* Working knowledge of Agile development methodology
* Experience with software design patterns
* Experience using Python
* Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript
* Experience in health care IT
* Experience with agile methodology and software engineering best practices
* Demonstrated ability to set individual priorities and solve complex issues
* Demonstrated communication skills, especially in the context of working with geographically distributed teams
