C#.Net Application Developer, Senior
The Sr. Application Developer will work as part of a team responsible for new application development and/or improving existing applications to meet the changing needs of our business. Specific assignments will include application design and development, coding for enhancements and fixes, testing and performance tuning. Advanced level of programming competency is required in object oriented design patterns and languages.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
* C#.NET (WPF, WCF, WinForms, Silverlight, Spring.NET, Infragistics Controls, Syncfusion Controls, NHibernate or ORM equivalent)
* 3 plus years experience with XP or Scrum agile development methodology
* Refactoring existing code and implementing new features using test driven development
* Advanced knowledge of database design and database concepts.
* Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, system development methodologies and software life cycles.
* Thorough knowledge of project/task estimation and planning.
* Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Perforce, QuickBuild)
* Demonstrated ability to participate in all phases of application software development.
* Demonstrated ability to lead phases of application software development.
* Demonstrated ability to direct the activities of developers within a project.
* General knowledge of the securities industry and CGC specific businesses.
* Messaging Frameworks
* Reporting technologies (Business Objects, Crystal Reports)
* Informatica Powercenter
* Fixed income analytic knowledge
