Software Programmer/Engineer - Java, C++
* Must have a minimum of 2+ years of software programming / development experience in an enterprise development in the following disciplines:
* Java and C++ programming
* Relational Database Management System design for PostgreSQL
* Application interface programming
* Planning, coding, debugging and compiling enterprise software component interfaces in a Linux environment.
* Must also have experience with PERL, SQL and script programming languages
* Experience in visualization techniques and tools is a plus. Weather background would be helpful, but is not mandatory
* General knowledge of other disciplines and how they relate to software engineering, including systems, hardware, integration/test, configuration management, and quality engineering
* Experience developing and/or supporting solutions for environmental, weather and / or meteorological science
