Jo IT Software Application and Development Manager
* Manage requests for new business applications and enhancements to existing applications and systems, validate and prioritize based on company established business initiatives.
* Manage multiple business systems, custom and purchased, ensuring greater than 99% uptime and high service satisfaction to end users.
* Work with business users and IT business analysts in understanding business opportunities and needs. Identifying creative solutions document and obtain business support.
* Must understand end to end business process, look at things holistically, have the ability to make decisions on buy, build or customize.
* Responsible for scoping of development work efforts, will develop and/or evaluate business case and associated return on investment.
* Estimate and manage complex IT projects, managing to established deliverables and delivering projects on budget and on time.
# BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems or a Business related degree is required; MS degree is a plus.
# Experience with Python web application framework development.
# Must have experience with Microsoft technologies, C#, .Net, DCOM, Web services, java script, XML, Ajax, and web 2.0 technologies.
# Experience with DB driven applications and DB management experience preferably, using MS SQL, SQL reporting Services.
# Experience working in a process oriented environment leveraging the SDLC process
# Linux administration, bash scripting.
# Must have experience developing API’s and other integrations between internal back office systems and external SaaS solutions.
# 5+ years of progressive development experience.
# 5+ years of application management experience.
# 5+ years managing a team, performing reviews and budget responsibility.
