Software Engineer
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a software engineering-related occupation.
· Advanced knowledge of Logical and Physical Database Design in Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, Database Programming, MS SQL Server Troubleshooting, MS SQL Performance Tuning, and Database Maintenance and Administration.
· Advanced data warehouse design, Business Intelligence development, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, and Dimensional Modeling;
· Microsoft SQL tools (SQL Server Management Studio, Business Intelligence Development Studio, SSIS, and SSAS)
· T-SQL programming experience including, DDL (Tables, Indexes, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions, Jobs), DML (dataflow using advanced queries, BCP, SSIS packages), and DCL (access control scripts).
· Advanced Business Intelligence Analytics Techniques using SSAS cubes, Excel Pivots, and SSRS Reports;
· Utilize Visual Basic, C/C++/C# and JAVA programming language skills to develop and implement business software applications.
· Utilize TCP/IP to develop Analytics Software applications.
· Experience utilizing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Engineering principles to design, develop and maintain Business Intelligence applications.
· Write documentation to describe program development logic, coding and corrections.
· Project Execution using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), including Version Control, Branching & Merging Source Code, Work Item Assignment, and Defect Tracking;
· Design and develop software applications security; and
· Understanding of regulatory requirements as related to software developme
