Software Engineer, Applications Development
* Rapidly prototype and develop web applications, and mobile applications on different devices, with a specific emphasis on the iOS (iPad, iPhone) and Android platforms
* Develop innovative software application platforms that leverage information from popular social network sites to provide business values
* Work with the team to explore innovative ideas and approaches to enable new ways to understand and interact with large amounts of data from internet
* Design logical and physical data models to drive application architecture
* Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D degree in Computer Science or other related fields
* Solid understanding of computer algorithms, data structures, and fundamental computer science are required
* Strong object-oriented programming and design skills are required
* Experiences and good understanding of multi-tier software architecture, service oriented architecture are preferred
* Experience with full life cycle software development is a plus
* Must be experienced with one or more of the following programming languages. Objective-C, Java script, PhP, Java, C/C++ ; experience with web services and WCF preferred ; experience with technologies such as XML, AJAX, HTML 5 is a plus
* Experience developing applications on the iPhone platform or the Mac OS X platform is highly desired. Other platforms like Android, Windows Mobile are also a plus
* Experience developing applications that interact with popular social networks, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or other social networks, is highly desired
* Cloud computing customization and development experience a plus, eg SalesForce.com, Amazon, Azure etc
* Must be able to self-teach various mobile, web and database technologies quickly
* Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills are required
* Team-oriented individual, positive attitude, energetic, result & delivery oriented, keen interest on exploring innovative solution
