Internet Development Manager
. Manages all tasks and activities for developers, ensuring they are fully utilized in a team-oriented, deadline-focused development environment. Tracks department deliverables to ensure dates and quality expectations are met.
. Responsible for understanding and maximizing the impact of projects on business metrics (sales increases, costs reductions, and customers interactions).
. Creates detailed project strategy documents, project plans, estimates, and schedules for application development tasks and activities related to the project.
. Updates resource load plans on a regular basis to reflect new assignments/estimates/dates. Review, validate and approve actual time reported against tasks and activities for each developer. Communicates status on projects, maintenance and enhancement items to project sponsors and others who are impacted.
. Drives projects to successful completion. Assess risks, resolve issues and escalate issues that require additional support.

· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (Masters preferred)
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a development environment managing multiple developers, multiple projects and timeline oriented work.
· Experience with HTML, Microsoft .net, JavaScript, VB.net, Microsoft SQL, and Windows Server operating systems.
· Hands on coding experience with Microsoft .Net, ASP, Visual Basic .Net, SQL Server. Some familiarity with Linux.
· Must have strong leadership skills.
· Must have the ability to guide the software development process and standards.
· Must possess the ability to manage multiple developers and multiple projects.
· Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Project, code repositories, Visio, AS400/DB2 integration, open source, JAVA, and XML considered a plus.
· Must be a strong communicator and have strong presentation skills.
· Must possess an understanding of the internet software development process and standards.
