Sr. Hardware/Firmware Engineer Embedded Applications
o Collaborate as one of the best of the best inside of the development team
o Work with the project team to define requirements and estimate completion times
o Take lead on the analysis, design, code testing, and implementing our embedded applications
*Previous start-up experience
*Proven ability to:
o Collaborate inside a team of 3-5+ developers
o Build efficient electronic circuits
o Develop new ideas and creative solutions
o Work successfully in an ambiguous environment
o Meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload
o Communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles
o Research independently and initiative to learn new skills and keep current with technological developments
o Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
*A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
*Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
*Customer focus and professional demeanor
*5-8+ years of experience developing embedded products and associated hardware integration
*3-5+ years of experience focusing on consumer type products
*3-5+ years of experience in hardware and firmware engineering
*Strong background in all aspects of product development lifecycle, including project management
*Experience with MSP430 processor family a plus
*Bachelors in Electronics Engineering or related field OR equivalent experience required
*MS in appropriate field preferred
