C++ Infrastructure Engineer
- Work to build high available, high scalable and high performance infrastructure to support PayPal's future growth
- Maintain and enhance the core C++ stack.
- Periodically release versions of infrastructure code including enhancements & bug fixes
- Coordinate with the third party component providers for upgrades
- Document infra components and provide design and technical support to project teams.
- Strong C++ / Linux experience.
- Background working in infrastructure team that build large scale system
- Experience building and supporting a hybrid Java/C++ stack is preferred
- Strong software design, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong co-ordination skills to handle complicated project delivery
- Minimum 7 years of development experience working in a software infrastructure/framework team
- Bachelors in computer science or computer engineering required
