Senior IT Technical Storage Analyst
* Lead and execute complex, medium to large technology projects that support development of Hosting solutions across one or more of the Hosting technologies (iSeries, UNIX, Storage, Windows, Linux, or Tape Backup).
* Act as a liaison between Engineering Implementation, Architecture, Technical Integration, Service Development teams and Operations.
* Work independently; receive direction through monitoring of progress and results.
* Provide assistance and mentoring to junior staff.
* Actively participate as a member of the global Engineering Implementation team.* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* 7 years of technical experience with Storage technologies.
* Ability to work successfully in both a team environment and independently.
* Effectively participate in a virtual, globally, diverse, distributed team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills including fluency in English and cultural awareness.
* Strong problem-solving / customer service skills.
* Able and willing to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends as required.
* Technical support experience in an enterprise networked (LAN/WAN) environment.
* Ability to quickly cut through issues and choose best solutions and course of action.
* Available for travel.
* Knowledge of project management, planning, and organization.
* Demonstrated project leadership ability.
* Knowledge or experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, configuration)
Preferred:
* Familiarity in a shared global enterprise environment with:
* EMC technologies (including Symmetrix, Clariion, Control Center, Navisphere)
* Netapp (v-series and FAS arrays)
* Cisco FC Switches
* Conceptual knowledge of Network, Enterprise storage, and database architectureience working directly with vendors to resolve complex enterprise technical
