Software Engineer
The Software Engineer will perform an integral role in every development project to ensure that all new products function satisfactorily within their environment from a control perspective.
In addition to the controller, the Software Engineer will be responsible for developing Ethernet based solutions for a new range of networked ovens to be launched this year.
- Development Involvement: Tailoring of existing embedded oven control systems for the specific requirements of global chains in the food service industry. Taking the next step in the development cycle to produce new and enhanced control systems to further improve the overall product performance.
- Product Testing: Conduct product testing inline with regulatory standards to ensure that products perform as required prior to official review.
- Experience in embedded controllers for commercial catering equipment
Microcontrollers
- Good understanding of microcontroller based electronics with expert knowledge of C and Assembler
- Experience with embedded Ethernet solutions
- Languages (C, HTML)
- Good understanding of SQL lite databases
Windows based applications
- Experience of writing software for Windows operating system
- Languages (C++)
- Good understanding of Analogue and Digital electronics
- Ability to write full and precise specifications for subcontractors
- Ability to prove software reliability via testing including full documented findings
- Ability to write and comment well structured software and control software releases with subcontractors
