Senior Application Developer
This position will be a lead software developer position, responsible for project coordination and supervision of graduate student and novice programmers including identifying and assigning tasks, determining computer hardware/software requirements, setting schedules and assessing progress, and assuring outcome achievement in compliance with project/program milestone and deliverable requirements.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems with 3-5 years experience (5+ years preferred) in a professional software development position, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be proficient in C++ and C# programming languages as well as Visual Studio development environment. Experience in development of Windows GUI components, including controls, using Windows Visual Designer required. Proficiency in mathematics applicable to software development required. Demonstrated ability for self-motivation with respect to working in a given architecture and under strict guidelines required. Must be able to work in a team environment. Supervisory experience of other software programmers, strongly preferred. Familiarity with large-scale software development projects using diverse technologies preferred. Experience in software development using 3rd party software capabilities and externals SDKs preferred. Must have demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.
