Senior Software Engineer
- Remotely analyze customer's StorNext issues and find resolutions related to code or environment.
- Provide input on release content and priorities.
- Develop code and scripts to enhance or fix existing StorNext products.
- Periodic after hours on-call for customer issues.
- BS Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience.
- 10+ years combined experience in a technical support role, sustaining engineering or software development position.
- 2 + years software development in C or C++ required.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of debugging multi-threaded applications.
- Experience with MySQL programming or support a definite plus.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of file system concepts.
- Previous experience in customer facing engineering role.
- Experience with user space and kernel debugging tools.
- Understanding of Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) systems and Storage Systems in a HPC environment.
- OS level knowledge on multiple platforms (MacOS, HPUX, AIX, Windows, Solaris and/or Linux).
- Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- US Citizenship required; security clearance a plus.
