Principal Software Engineer
Design, develop and support network performance collection and analysis applications.
Perform analysis, design, development, and unit testing of C and Perl software while adhering to development standards and procedures in a team environment.
Implement a variety of software tools to be used in system performance analysis and benchmarking.
Develop core technology, including design/architecture of new solutions and refinement of existing applications.
Telecommunications domain experience is desired
Familiarity with network monitoring software, Call Detail Record processing is desired
Excellent knowledge of core C and Perl is required. Candidate should be comfortable developing software in C for real-time data processing
Development experience with database systems is desired
Statistical data processing/analysis experience is desired
UNIX shell programming experience is a big plus
Software development experience on Linux is required
Experience in XML processing desired
Excellent time-management skills, ability to work against tight deadlines, ability to multi-task. The candidate is expected to contribute to multiple areas concurrently.
Minimum BS degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience
