Senior Software Engineer
*Energetic hands-on Technical Leader or Senior Software Development Engineer who can actively drive and participate in the architecture, design and implementation of a massively scalable, distributed, reliable Unified Communication Infrastructure.
* Involve in architecture and software design of Cloud infrastructure components that enable hosting UCaaS
* Implement core modules along with other members of the team
* Actively participate in all parts of the software development cycle including code review, unit test and system integration test
* Mentor Junior Engineers in the team
* Bachelor's, Masters or Doctorate in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering with 3+ years of developing large scale software
* Experience building large software systems in the industry using Java EE, and/or C++/C
* Experience with at least one scripting language such as Python, Ruby, Javascript is preferred
* Experience building solutions for the unified communication space involving real-time audio/video, IM, Collaboration, Content management is a plus
* Working knowledge of UC protocols such as H.323, SIP, XMPP, LDAP and familiarity working with MySQL/Postgresql/Cassandra is desirable.
* Hands-on experience and/or solid understanding of Virtualization, Cloud solution APIs (eg. through SDKs associated with AWS, OpenStack) is very desirable.
