Net Engineer:
*
Design, implementation, and testing
*
Communication (verbal and written) to customers, peers, and management teams
*
Create and follow standard procedures, plan multiple projects simultaneously, and complete on schedule
*
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
*
At least 3 years’ experience in the software engineering field
*
Deep knowledge in enterprise class Java, PHP or .NET with strong software architecture, design and development best practices
*
Java server side application development and/or client side using the Eclipse SDK
*
Database design and interaction with MySQL, MS SQLServer, or Oracle
*
Enterprise class web development using AJAX toolkits with ASP.NET or PHP
*
Business applications and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) development with C# and the latest in .NET frameworks
*
Unit, integration, and acceptance testing in the above environments
Experience and knowledge in the following areas are a plus:
*
Erlang, Scala, Akka, Protobuf, or Thrift
*
Deploying and administering software systems in cloud based architectures
*
Agile software development practices
*
Test Driven Development
*
Understanding of technology related to digital broadcast
