Software Developer/Systems Analys
· Development and support of highly customized Web-based business applications coded in C# with a SQL Server backend.
* Has thorough understanding of technical concepts required for specialized field.
* Uses that knowledge, creativity and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems.
* Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding project direction.
* Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support
* Experience writing and reviewing software design specifications in an object oriented development environment
* Knowledge of relational database architecture and design principles (MS SQL Server 2005 or greater)
* Ability to thoroughly understand the business issues surrounding each project
* Ability to respond directly to questions from business clients
* Ability to be a technical authority and work with other team members
* Knowledge of N-Tier application architecture
* Knowledge of COTS package installation and maintenance
* Ability to work directly with third party vendor to identify and implement best practices
* Knowledge of standard change management tools and processes
* BS and 6+ years or equivalent
* 4+ years delivering IT solutions in the banking or financial services industry
* 2+ years development experience with MS .NET framework programming languages and MS SQL Server database technology
* Ideal candidate has direct experience with the following business functions: Treasury, Risk Management, Asset/Liability Management
