Software Engineers - Java
Under general direction: Formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Essential Functions:
1) Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs.
2) Performs technical analysis and research.
3) Supports Quality Assurance and client testing.
4) Provides on-call support for production.
5) Provides estimates for enhancements.
6) Performs development, and testing for application system issues or enhancements.
7) Serves as system expert through sharing of detailed knowledge of some functional areas of the systems.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and/or commensurate experience.
Experience:
3 + years experience in system development and support.
Good working knowledge of application development and associated processes.
Strong knowledge of one or more application programming languages and the associated operating platform.
