XML Developer
# Designs, creates, implements and modifies XML transform applications, based upon USP specifications;
# Tracks, troubleshoots and repairs application problems;
# Provides training for staff on developed applications and processes as required;
# Provides periodic activity reports;
# Provides backup support to Publishing Specialists in the following areas: process content for print and electronic products using documented procedures; maintains log for production of galley and pagination output; creates and modifies MS-DOS batch files for production of print and electronic products;
# Complies with all established procedures when completing assignments;
# Completes assignments according to scheduled priorities;
# Verifies the accuracy and integrity of completed work;
# Analyzes, troubleshoots, and debugs files, referring the most problematic to the next level of responsibility;
# Versions tests/production software as required in USP-approved repositories such as CVS or Source Safe;
# Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred (or a combination of equivalent experience), with at least 2 years of relevant experience in XML data transformation using XSLT. Experience with OmniMark is also preferred. Individual must be self-motivated and work well in teams. Strong communication skills. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
