Java/J2EE Engineer
Write clear, well-written, object-oriented code
Participate in system requirements analysis in response to business requirements using formal
methodology
Work with other development team members to implement the designs, including design and
code reviews
Participate in peer code reviews
Generate unit, integration, and performance tests, to ensure the products are being tested
thoroughly to produce quality products.
Thrive in a fun, intense, engaging environment with plenty of design kudos
8+ years experience as a Java/J2EE developer
Deep specific knowledge of security vulnerabilities, threat analyses, and risk modeling
Previous experience with DRM, PCI compliance, public and symmetric-key cryptography, RSA,
AES, PKI, SSL
Expertise in Linux, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, and Tomcat
Solid SOA programming experience with J2EE, including EJB, JSP, JDBC, and JMS
Demonstrable ability to design and understand the complexities of distributed computing, multithreaded
systems, asynchronous programming, and message queues.
Internet technology skills including XML, XPath, WSDL, SOAP, and MTOM
Database experience, including MySQL, Oracle, and NoSQL technologies
Strong OOA/OOP foundation with experience in UML
The ability to work unassisted in Window and Linux environments
Desirable experience and skills/capabilities include:
Knowledge of at least two other non-scripting programming languages
DBA expertise would be a distinct advantage
Web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON
Experience with the Play framework
