Senior Software Engineer
• Maintain existing software written as a product or in support of products for the Company as necessary as directed by the Software Manager.
• Develop new software written as a product or in support of products for the Company as necessary as directed by the Software Manager.
• Interface with customers and/or sales personnel during project development phase to ensure software functionality and specification accuracy.
• Interface with customers to resolve problems with existing software.
• Education: BS in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering/Physics/Chemistry required, Master Degree in EE/Physics/Computer Science/Chemistry preferred.
• Experience/Skills:
o Minimum Five (5) years PC software design experience with heavy emphasis on Windows Visual Basic experience.
o C/C++ Design/Development desired
o Experience in embedded system design desired
o Real time operating systems desired
o Software system architecture design experience
o Software project management with emphasis on team usage of SVN, BugTracker, MS Project and other project management tools a plus. Able to take a software project from conceptual stage to release.
