Java Software Developer
* Work with business analysts and developers to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
* Ensure that all application functionality works within a variety of browsers and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design.
* Participate in efforts to improve quality of web applications.
* Participate in code and design reviews.
* Troubleshoot code defects and deploy timely fixes.
* Research new tools and technologies for use within the team.
* Contribute to the continuing technical education of the team.
* Create and maintain technical documentation.
* 3 or more years' experience programming in Java
* Experience designing and developing large scale web applications.
* Coding skills in Javascript, AJAX, REST, HTML, and/or CSS are desired. Dojo experience is preferred.
* Thorough knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies as well as an awareness of new and emerging technologies.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups.
* BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field
