Computer Scientist — Application Developer * Analyzes optimization or predictive model processes, inputs and outputs to design the optimal interface tool for senior management - this objective will require understanding the outputs of statistical models in R, SAS, Mathematica, and other software tools under the direction of experts in those fields * Coordinates with internal stakeholders to ensure usability and flexibility of tool design - this may require some travel to field offices to understand current and future processes requirements * Manages and executes on the project management process for each tool, including detailed business requirements, backend data infrastructure design, software development, testing, and release schedules * Coordinates work with internal stakeholders as appropriate to ensure completion of deliverables within project constraints of cost, scope, and time * Coordinates with IT, as needed, to validate hardware or software requirements for tool support * Identifies training and development needs and may participate in development and facilitation of training * Represents department in interdepartmental meetings and task forces to provide information and recommendations * Performs special projects as assigned

* Masters degree or equivalent training in Computer Science. * Extensive knowledge in software development and change management best practices * Extensive knowledge in user interface design and development, portfolio demonstration strongly desired. * Knowledge of statistical methods and software packages, i.e. R, SAS, Mathematica preferred. * Proven analytical and communications skills necessary to serve as a Company representative and to provide analysis, consultation, and training as needed. * 2+ yrs experience preferred.
